Morocco To Battle Senegal In U-17 AFCON Final 

The Africa U-17 Cup of Nations final will be played between Morocco and Senegal in Algeria after both teams survived the pressure of penalties.

While Morocco won their semi-final clash against Mali 6-5 on penalties after playing a goalless draw in regulation time, Senegal beat Burkina Faso 5-4 in Annaba following a 1-1 draw in regulation time.

The final which is billed for Friday, May 19, will be the first time that both teams will play in the final of the competition.

Should either the Senegalese juniors or the Atlas Cubs win the competition, it will be a historic victory for their country.

Meanwhile, Mali and Burkina Faso will play for the Bronze medal come Thursday, May 18, 2023.

These four nations will represent Africa at the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup in November.
