Movie Houses, Fast Food Restaurants To Open In Delta State

The Delta State Government has directed that movie houses, fast food restaurants, and other businesses be open, as it further relaxes the lockdown in the state.

This development was disclosed by the state information commissioner, Charles Aniagwu, on Thursday, at the state capital Asaba.

Aniagwu said, “We have taken a decision to allow movie houses, hotels, entries to open their businesses but must consistently fumigate the places.

“They will not be more than 50 for big capacity and 25 for small capacity hall. They must observe all the COVID-19 protocol.

“Why we are making this decision is to ensure that businesses survive in the state as people had long closed.”

He added that the processes of reopening by these businesses would be closely monitored by the task force and would shutter any business that fails to follow protocols.
