The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Osun Sector Command has announced that two persons have been injured in serious multiple accidents.
The accident, the road safety watchdog added, occurred at Iwaraja Junction along the Iles-Ipuetu section of the Ilesa-Akure expressway.
In a statement made available by Agnes Ogungbemi, the FRSC Osun Sector Command spokesperson, it involved a green colour Toyota Avalon with registration number: FKJ762FE and a green colour MAN commercial vehicle with registration number: BGT624LG.
Ogungbemi revealed that the crash was caused by speed and route violation and two male adults out of the four males in both vehicles for injured.
She also disclosed that the injured victims were rescued and taken to the FRSC clinic for medical treatment.
