Former world number one Andy Murray was beaten by Dusan Lajovic in the first round at the Miami Open to knock him out of the competition.
The Brit suffered a straight-set loss as the 76th-ranked Serb won 6-4 7-5 to set up a tie with American Maxime Cressy.
Murray was nowhere near his best on the night as he was unable to take break-point opportunities in the opening set, allowing Lajovic to warp up the set in 42 minutes.
He however did make an attempt to produce another memorable comeback in the second set after breaking back at 5-5 but Lajovic extinguished those hopes with another break and was relieved to serve out the match in straight sets when Murray framed a forehand.
The disappointing defeat comes a week after the 35-year-old lost to compatriot Jack Draper in the third round at Indian Wells.
