Three-time Grand Slam winner Andy Murray could miss the Australian Open after he tested positive for coronavirus. He is self-isolating at home and still hopes to travel to play at the Australian Open, which gets underway on February 8.
Murray 33, is understood to be in good health despite the infection.
The tournament — the first grand slam of the year — doesn't begin until 8 February and Murray is thought to be hoping to travel at a later date.
Murray and his team are working closely with tournament director Craig Tiley to try to come up with an acceptable solution, which would allow him to take part in the year's opening Grand Slam.
