My Lawyers Are Studying For Next Line Of Action — Blessing Okagbare

Nigerian Olympian Blessing Okagbare has responded following Athletics Integrity Unit (AUI) 10-year ban imposed on her for multiple violations of anti-doping rules on Friday.

On her social media, the 33-year old athlete tweeted "My attention has been drawn to the statement issued by the AIU regarding its disciplinary panel decision. My lawyers are currently studying it for our next line of action which we will inform you soon.?❤

According to the AUI, Blessing has 30 days to appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) which she would likely would do since her lawyers are already "studying" the ban.

Okagbare might likely win AUI at the CAS with the Russian teenage Kamila Valieva's case setting precedence for her.
