'My Leg Must Not Be Amputated' - Fadeyi Oloro Cries Out (EXCLUSIVE)

Veteran Yoruba Actor, Fadeyi Oloro (originally christened Ojo Arowosafe) has cried out to Nigerians to come to his aid as he battles a strange leg problem.

Fadeyi Oloro in an exclusive interview with AllNews at a Lagos suburb recently, says although, at some point, he got better from a sickness he has been battling for some years now, but a weird complication to his left leg sprung up.

He therefore call on prominent Nigerians to help him.

"I am Ojo Arowosafe, popularly known as Fadeyi Oloro – the film actor. When you hear about my death, please disregard it," Fadeyi said in his native Yoruba dialect.

"My colleagues are aware of my condition. But everyone has his or her own challenge.

"I am not blaming anybody. I am a friend to all.

"My message has been delivered to a lot of them.

"I had been unwell, but I recovered.

"Now, I’m not fine again and it is affecting the film I want to produce.

"I know if my colleagues see me, they’d help.

"Top political office holders know my worth in the South-West region of Nigeria.

"I do move to the hospital from film locations.

"Starting from Bola Tinubu. I believe had Tinubu seen me, total reprieve would have come.

"Rauf Aregbesola, Lai Mohammed, Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State, Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, Akinwunmi Ambode, Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun, Senator Olamilekan Yayi, Raji Fashola, I am calling on you all to please come to my aid.

"I don’t want my leg to be amputated.

"I believe I will win this battle.

"I don’t want people to start writing Rest In Peace (RIP).

"I have sold my car, my land, on this matter.

"That is the message I have for you all," Fadeyi said.

"I am yet to start production on my film – ‘Kogbodoku’. My prayer is that God gives me total healing so I can start working on it.

"The film has been written. It is based on my life experience.

"I need help to enable me to successfully produce the movie.

"When one is healthy, there is hope.

"I don’t want my leg amputated, please."

Why church instead of hospital?

"I was made to understand that this present challenge cannot be solved in the hospital.

"In fact, I was rejected at the hospital.

"That is the reason I told them to bring me to this church, so that we can present it to the Lord.

"My faith is in God," Fadeyi stated.

"Fadeyi’s leg problem is a spiritual one. But we give God the glory for taking control.

"When he was brought here, he could barely walk on his own.

"However, after some few days, he got better.

"He is a kind-hearted man.

"This is the time for people to help him.

"There are some things he ought to buy that he couldn’t due to lack of funds.

"He also need to return to his career. We don’t want his career to ‘die’ because he is just starting.

"When one goes through ‘Kogbodoku’ (the script) by Fadeyi, it is didactic."
