N-Power: Afolabi Slammed For Wednesday's Facebook Chat

 

The man who leads the Job Creation component, N-Power of the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP), Afolabi Imoukhuede has been slammed by some Nigerian youths for a statement credited to him that giving permanent employment to 500, 000 volunteers under the scheme is "impracticable", AllNews reports.

AllNews had earlier reported that the Presidential aide will be relating to volunteers of the famed scheme.

Beneficiaries sent in their questions as Imoukhuede made his first appearance on Facebook Live Chat since the programme was transferred to the newly-created Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development in October 2019.

Matters such as prompt stipend payment and the fate of the 2016 beneficiaries were dialogued.

The Edo-born technocrat who had prior to the 2019 general elections pleaded with beneficiaries to once more vote his principal, President Muhammadu Buhari to enhance their continuity in the programme, was quoted to have said on Wednesday that the N-Power heads are in talks with state governments for a robust exit package for beneficiaries.

However, All News observed that most beneficiaries desire permanency - as against imminent exit. Thus, some of them expressed their disappointment towards Imoukhuede.

Afolabi, is the greatest scam of all time. last year before the Presidential elections, Afolabi asked Npower beneficiaries to vote for Buhari so as for them to expect permanency in return. Just yesterday, he was saying that the Government can't permanent the beneficiaries.

Federal government is no longer concerned about NPOWER beneficiaries . we massively voted for this present administration based on the promise made my mr Afolabi the special adviser on job creation as regards our permanency. Yet we were neglected. More territories I think!!!
