The Job Creation and Empowerment Initiative of the Social Investment Programme of the Nigerian Government on Tuesday declared that all N-Power beneficiaries in the country would get bank alerts for their April stipend "this week unfailingly".
AllNews reported that Sadiya Farouq, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, had at the briefing of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 in Abuja last week promised that her ministry will pay over 400,000 N-Power graduate volunteers throughout Nigeria this week.
Beneficiaries had stressed that the payment of the stipend would enable them to take care of their needs during the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) crisis.
Now, it looks very much like the ministry has signed the payment mandate after all due processes were concluded in line with the rules guiding the federal government’s public financial expenditure.
We wish we could tell you the exact date and time but beneficiaries will receive their stipends this week unfailingly. https://t.co/Sjc8fAPxDo
