N-Power Batch C: Check Out Means Of Doing Biometrics Verific

The Muhammadu Buhari administration says the N-Power scheme was created to address the issues of youth unemployment and help increase social development in the country.

The National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) has unveiled the prerequisites for N-Power Batch C applicants to undergo their Biometrics authentication.

NASIMS is the central management platform for the administration and coordination of the National Social Investment Programmes (NSIPs) of the Nigerian government, under the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development.

NASIMS stressed that the platforms for authentication of human characteristics in respect of the N-Power Batch C recruitment should be "installed separately before clicking the Install button".

"This prerequisite below is required and should be installed separately before clicking the Install button:

  • Fingerprint reader Prerequisite for either 32 bit Installation or 64 bit Installation or General Installer

"The following prerequisite is required for Biometric Client:

  • .NET Desktop Runtimes .NET Core Runtime 3.1 and

  • For some systems, you need both the .NET Core SDK and .NET Core Runtime, please download for .NET Core 3.1 here

"If the Biometric Client components are already installed, you can launch the application now. Otherwise, click the button below to install the prerequisites and run the application," a note on the N-Power Biometric Client segment of the NASIMS portal reads.

This information can be sighted when N-Power Batch C applicants log in to the NASIMS portal.

Recall that late last month (May), the Federal Government announced that it was about to conclude the new enrollments of one million beneficiaries under Batch C of the social investment programme.

Sadiya Farouq, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, who disclosed this to journalists in Abuja, the nation's capital said the one million beneficiaries would be taken in two streams of 500,000 participants each.

“Currently the ministry is about concluding the enrollment of 1,000,000 Batch C applicants in two streams of 500,000 in the first instance and another 500,000 later,” Farouq had said.
