502,580 bonafide enrolees of the Federal Government of Nigeria's N-Power programme are yet to get paid their June/July stipends, AllNews reports.
N-Power graduate beneficiaries are paid a monthly stipend of N30, 000, meaning over fifteeen billion naira (N15,077,400,000) budgeted to be expended as remuneration by the Nigerian government for June stipends has not been paid to both Batch A and Batch B beneficiaries.
Batch A were exited on June 30.
The Batch B enrolees who will officially exit the famed scheme tomorrow, Friday, 31st of July, 2020, have not been paid neither their June nor July stipends, AllNews can authoritatively report. That's 9 billion naira for the Batch B beneficiares not settled - as the Federal Government has repeatedly and publicly put their number at 300, 000.
This, despite Friday being Sallah celebration.
Making known in Abuja about six days ago in a press release, Sadiya Farouq, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development stated that no fewer than 502,580 youths have been genuinely enrolled into the National Social Investment Programme of the federal government.
According to Farouq, the N-Power programme is aimed at driving skill development and job creation for unemployed youths between the ages of 18 and 35.
“After receiving complaints of non-payment by some beneficiaries, who did same through the ministry, the OAGF (GIFMIS) officially wrote informing the ministry that out of a total of Five Hundred and Sixteen Thousand, Six Hundred (516,600) N-Power beneficiaries data sent to OAGF for migration in April, 2020, only a total of Five Hundred and Two Thousand, Five Hundred and Eighty (502,580) data have successfully migrated to the GIFMIS platform," Farouq had said while explaining the delay in June stipend payment.

At the present time, one day into the new month of August, beneficiaries are still waiting to be paid for June and July.
Since the transfer of the National Social Investment Programme (N-SIP) to the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development in October 2019, N-Power beneficiaries' pay has not been regular, this writer gathered from several volunteers.
Today is the thirtieth day of the seventh month of the year, yet, beneficiaries have not been settled their June stipend as well as July stipend.
This has caused many of them to come on social media (Twitter most especially) to demand their payment.
Sir, my question is regarding the the payment of our stipend 2016/2017 Beneficiaries, what is the exact time for the payment of June/july?hope my question would be considered.
