The five-month unpaid stipends of exited N-Power volunteers have still not been paid, AllNews reports.
Recall that March 2020 to July 2020 stipends (N30, 000/month) were not paid as and when due. The 36-state representatives of N-Power volunteers plus the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has given Sadiya Farouq, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development of Nigeria 27 days to fulfill all her promises to the exited N-Power beneficiaries.
In a statement on Tuesday signed by Kabiru Aliyu Pelemi, the National N-Power President, the council warned that failure of the federal agency to heed their request will mean they'll mobilize 500,000 youths to occupy the ministry. Read more here.
