Latest N-Power News Today 2021, Monday, 22nd of March:

N-Power is a scheme set up by President Muhammadu Buhari on June 8, 2016, to address the issues of youth unemployment and help increase social development.

The scheme was created as a component of National Social Investment Programme, to provide a structure for large scale and relevant work skills acquisition and development and to ensure that each participant will learn and practice most of what is necessary to find or create work.

N-Power Stipends: Ministry Of Humanitarian Affairs Gets Arrears To Pay

The five-month unpaid stipends of exited N-Power volunteers have still not been paid, AllNews reports.

Recall that March 2020 to July 2020 stipends (N30, 000/month) were not paid as and when due. Our findings revealed that stipends settlement is often not timely since Sadiya Farouq, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development of Nigeria took over Nigeria's National Social Investment Programmes (NSIPs) role in August 2019. N-Power Batch C: How To Know if You're Part of Successful Candidates After Test

Applicants' enrolment online tests for N-Power Batch C have begun, after Sadiya Farouq, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, formally unveiled the latest set in Abuja last week.

Farouq had inaugurated the Batch ‘C’ on the National Social Investment Management Systems (NASIMS) portal on March 11, 2021, in the nation's capital. Read more here.

NEXIT N-Power: Scheme's National President Issues 'Final' Ultimatum to Sadiya Farouq

The 36-state representatives of N-Power volunteers plus the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has given Sadiya Farouq, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development of Nigeria 27 days to fulfill all her promises to the exited N-Power beneficiaries.

In a statement on Tuesday signed by Kabiru Aliyu Pelemi, the National N-Power President, the council warned that failure of the federal agency to heed their request will mean they'll mobilize 500,000 youths to occupy the ministry. Read more here.
