N-Power is a scheme set up by President Muhammadu Buhari on June 8, 2016, to address the issues of youth unemployment and help increase social development.

The scheme was created as a component of National Social Investment Programme, to provide a structure for large scale and relevant work skills acquisition and development and to ensure that each participant will learn and practice most of what is necessary to find or create work.

Kabiru Pelemi, the National N-Power President has challenged President Muhammadu Buhari to wade in to the issue of exited beneficiaries' unpaid stipends as well as delayed NEXIT implementation.

Pelemi who made known his thoughts via his known Twitter handle on Wednesday maintained that Sadiya Farouq, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development "has no plan for Nigeria youth". Read more here.

The Federal Government says it will expand the N-Power programme from the present 500,000 beneficiaries to one million.

Kabiru Pelemi, the National N-Power President has expressed his dismay at the inaction of the Nigerian National Assembly in respect of the owed stipends of exited beneficiaries and the delayed implementation of the NEXIT by the Federal Ministry of the Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development.

N-Power Batch C: Scheme Sends Message To Applicants

The Job Creation and Empowerment Initiative of the Social Investment Programme of the Nigerian Government on Friday said that N-Power Batch C applicants that have received message from the scheme asking them to reconfirm their N-POWER ID should "please comply".
