N-Power NEXIT: Nigerian Social Commentator Dishes Out Advice To FG

A Nigerian social commentator and ex-N-Power beneficiary, Mustapha Kabir Soron Dinki has advised the Federal Government to implement the NEXIT plan "as quick as possible"

Dinki, a foremost youth leader in Kano State who has been vocal with his call for undelayed transition for the exited Batch A and B N-Power beneficiaries, also told the Federal Government to "consider fair play in the disbursement of the loan".

"After long period of expectations and unfulfilled promises made by the federal government of Nigeria, Nexit portal was established by Npower managers in which that all the exited beneficiaries were asked to register with stated conditions in place," Dinki said via a post shared to The Youths-4-Change Network's known Facebook page on Saturday.

"The portal came with technical problems that deny to register many bonafide exited Npower beneficiaries. Email rejection, lack of response from the N-SIP support team, and deactivation of applicants' accounts, among others. These are the ubiquitous issues faced by these young people. What's so frustrating and unequal!

"Despite all the above fishy issues, the whole thing is ambiguous and opaque. Though, government as a system described by David Easton is opaque sometimes but transparency is one of the major features of democracy. Everything should be made transparent for people to see and appreciate if we really mean the real business.

"Above that, I advise the federal government to implement it as quick as possible and consider fair play in the disbursement of the loan or whatever.

"Don't frustrate some for others.

"Poverty is increasingly alarming in Nigeria. And the youths are the most vulnerable. They need governmental intervention to secure their daily bread.

"May we see the best."
