Legendary Nollywood actor, Segun Arinze popularly called ‘Black Arrow' on Monday hit the learning centre of a sub-component of the President Muhammadu Buhari's government’s famed N-Power scheme, N-Creative.

N-Power Creative North beneficiaries started their training last week.

Drilling is on in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and Arinze is one of the facilitators.

The 55-year-old taught the beneficiaries Voice Acting.

‘Black Arrow’ is the name of a ruthless criminal character Arinze played in a film entitled ‘Silent Night’.

Leveraging on the success of that flick, producer Chico Ejiro continued the story in a sequel he named ‘The Return of Black Arrow’.

The N-Power Creative programme which was announced in October 2018, is expected to train and develop 5,000 young creative talents.

The strategy, Nigerian authorities say, is to put the country’s creative industry on the global radar as exporters of world-class services and content.

Training will last 3 months, made up of 1-month in-class and a 2-month hands-on group project, across selected Nigerian cities.

The participants will be trained and certified in one of the following courses: Animation, Graphic Design, Post-production and Script Writing.

At the end of the training, organizers say some participants will get local and international internship opportunities while others will be linked to job and market opportunities.
