N-Power Representatives Forum Provides Important Update On '

 

The 36-state N-Power Representatives Forum has postponed the proposed 'mega protest' at the National Assembly (NASS) headquarters scheduled for Thursday in Abuja 'due to the parliament's recess', AllNews reports.

The protest - over unpaid three-month stipends - is now rescheduled for 25th June 2020 at NASS by 9 am, a statement on the known Twitter handle of the panel reads on Wednesday afternoon.

The graduate volunteers who are entitled to N30, 000 monthly pay said the non-payment of their stipends has subjected them to untold hardship in the wake of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) crisis.

Comrade Kabiru Aliyu Pelemi, the Acting National Coordinator of N-Power State Ambassadors is expected to lead the protest and will speak the minds of his colleagues.
