Governments in many parts of the world lie for different reasons to a wide range of audiences on a variety of topics. AllNews looks at the government's dishonesties from the spectrum of one of the social investment programmes, N-Power.

AllNews has accumulated a list of non-fulfilments by Sadiya Farouq, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development of Nigeria.

N-Power: Below are three things Farouq failed to do as Nigerian authorities use the launch of NEXIT Portal to veil their failings

1. Payments of over 14, 000 unpaid Volunteers from the month of March to July 2020.

AllNews understands that all documents needed for this have been supplied by the volunteers over two months ago.

2. Volunteers are being owed backlogs of different months. They earn N30, 000 monthly.

3. Devices of all Batch B beneficiaries and some batch A beneficiaries have not been delivered to them.

It is noteworthy that this forms part of the agreement of their engagement few years ago.
