N2 Billion Fraud: Former Women Minister Quizzed By EFCC

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has questioned the Former Minister of Women Affairs, Pauline Tallen, over an alleged N2 billion fraud.

Tallen was reportedly quizzed on Friday at the Abuja Zonal Command of the EFCC after she was invited by the anti-graft agency.

Per reports, the interrogation which began at about 12 noon on Friday lasted until 8 pm.

Details of the probe remain sketchy as of the time of this report but a source with knowledge of the issue disclosed that Tallen is under scrutiny over alleged corrupt enrichment to the tune of N2 billion.

It was gathered that part of the aforementioned sum was allegedly diverted from the African First Lady Peace Mission Project.

EFCC Spokesman Wilson Uwujaren could not be reached for confirmation of the development.
