N5 million is change — BBNaija's Phyna boasts

Winner of the Big Brother Naija reality show season 7, Josephina Otabor, popular as Phyna, has reacted to claims that she lied about turning down N5 million naira offered to her at a nightclub.

Phyna made headlines after she claimed she rejected N5 million a man offered her for sex in the last episode of Spill With Phyna.

The reality star's claim stirred mixed reactions from social media users, including a former BBNiaja housemate DeeOne, who doubted the claim and asked her to provide evidence of her rejection.

Reacting to netizens who doubted her claim in a recent interview with Cool FM Nigeria, Lagos, the Big Friday Show with Tacha, Phyna stated that Nigerians sometimes act "somehow".

She explained that N5 million is just $5,000 which she described as "change".

Phyna stated that she could make N5 million in the comfort of her home without stepping out. 

She said: “How much is N5 million? N5 million is just $5,000. N5 million? That’s change. N5 million is something I can make in my comfort zone, in my house. I don’t need to open my door to go and make N5 million.
