An export processing facility centre has been unveiled in Lagos by the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc to enhance the country's export drive and standardise the nation's export processing system.
Dr Seinde Fadeni, the Chairman, NAHCO, while speaking at the unveiling of the facility, said the facility in Lagos is the first of five.
According to him, such centres would be spread across the country to cover all geo-political zones, as they would be developed in Abuja, Port Harcourt, Enugu, and Kano to boost Nigeria’s export policy.
Dr Ezra Yakusak, the Chief Executive Officer, Nigerian Export Promotion Council, lauded NAHCO for putting to good use the one N1 billion grant that it got from the Federal Government through the NEPC and support towards successful completion of the project in all proposed centres.
