In comparison to the N461.33 it traded on Tuesday, the amount represented a 0.06 percent reduction.

On Wednesday, the open indicative rate reached a high of N461.35 to the dollar.

Before it finished at N461.60, the exchange rate for the day's trade reached a high of N462.01 to the dollar.

In the course of the day's trade, the Naira dropped as low as N446 to the dollar.

On Wednesday, transactions at the official Investors and Exporters window totaled 81.95 million dollars.
