Nasarawa Announces 2-Day Free Medical Outreach In Kokona

The Nasarawa State Government has announced a 2-day free medical outreach to Kokona Local Government Area of the state. 

This is in collaboration with the local government Council with a support from the Saving One Million Lives (Program for Results). 

The free medical outreach is said to hold at the General Hospital, Garaku from Tuesday 7th - Wednesday 8th December, 2021 from 9:00am - 5:00pm daily. 

A statement  issued, Friday, by the Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Health, Dr. Janet Angbazo, says the exercise will involve medical consultations, and minor to some major surgical procedures.

"The program shall also provide  standard eye care services, provision of eye glasses to persons who may need them for eye sights improvements as well as ultrasound services", Angbazo said. 

"In view of the above, Members of the General Public, especially those with Health related challenges are advised to take full advantage of this all important offer of  these Free Medical Services being provided by the State Government.

"His Excellency Engr. Abdullahi A Sule, the Governor of Nasarawa state, will grace the occasion on Wednesday 8th December, 2021
