The Nasarawa State House of Assembly (NSHA) on Tuesday received and deliberated on the report of the 2022 budget proposal of 109.8bn sent by Governor Abdullahi A. Sule for consideration and approval.
Receiving the report, Speaker Ibrahim Abdullahi Balarabe commended Honourable Aliyu Dogara-led committee on Finance and Appropriation for a job well done and called for sustenance.
The report on the Budget of Sustainable Transformation was unanimously adopted by the House after Majority Leader, Tanko Tunga (APC, Awe North) moved the motion and was seconded by the Minority Leader, Abel Bala (PDP, Nasarawa Eggon West).
Governor Sule had submitted the budget proposal on Thursday, December 9 with Education taking the lion's share.
