Streetlights
The Energy Commission of Nigeria (ECN) has installed solar-powered street lights in some communities in Nasarawa state.
Four (4) communities in different locations benefited from this laudable project.
The multi-million project which has been completed was carried out by Owejicon Nigeria Limited.
The street lights were said to have been installed at Keana, the governor of Nasarawa State's hometown (Gudi, Akwanga), Uke and Roguwa in the Karu Local Government Area of the state.
Residents of the environment expressed delight, stating that aside from providing light, it is also a security measure in this area, as it will help curb activities of miscreants.
