Nasarawa: Council Chair Distributes Motorcycles To Security Personnel, Youths 

The Executive Chairman of Awe Local Government Council in Nasarawa State Usman Umar, has distributed motorcycles to security personnel in the area. 

Umar who distributed the motorcycles on Wednesday said the move was in line with his administration’s commitment to enhancing security in the area. 

Some selected youths of the All Progressives Congress (APC) also benefited from the gesture aimed at becoming self-reliant. 

The council chairman charged the youths to make judicious use of the motorcycles to earn a living. 

Youth leader Yakubu Haliru Azara who spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries assured the council chairman of their support to deliver on his mandate. 

Azara expressed appreciation to the chairman for coming to their aid at a critical time and vowed to make judicious use of the motorcycles. 

The council chairman distributed eleven (11) motorcycles to the beneficiaries drawn across the area in fulfilment of his campaign promise of youth empowerment.
