Nasarawa Deputy Governor Gifts ₦‎1.2 Million To 120 Less

The Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, Dr Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe on Thursday gifted about 1.2 million naira  to less privileged women in Toto Local Government Area of the State. 

A total of two hundred and twenty (120) less privileged women drawn across the twelve (12) electoral wards of the area were said to have benefited from the gesture. 

The beneficiary regardless of party affiliations received ₦‎10,000 each to complement the efforts of the Governor Abdullahi Sule led administration.

According to Akabe, the gesture is aimed at lifting thousands of people out of poverty. 

In attendance during the disbursement were the Commissioner of Health, Pharmacist Ahmed Yahaya Baba and chairman of the area,  Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas among others.
