Nasarawa: NUDB Boss Suspended Indefinitely For Destroying Campaign Billboards

The Managing Director of Nasarawa Urban Development Board (NUDB), Engr. Mohammed Wada Yahaya has been suspended indefinitely without pay for destroying campaign billboards in the state.

This was contained in a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Muhammad Ubandoma Aliyu on Thursday in Lafia the state capital.

Yahaya had been queried on Tuesday for destroying campaign billboards in Lafia belonging to some political parties and candidates who are vying for offices in this year's general elections.

The unwarranted destruction of the billboards, Governor Abdullahi Sule said was tantamount to negligence, insubordination and misconduct.

He was directed to hand over the affairs of the Agency to the most senior Director with immediate effect.
