Following a convincing 2-0 triumph over Remo Stars on Monday in Jos, the head coach of Nasarawa United Bala Nikyu has expressed his delight over his players' gameplay.
It was the Solid Miners who got in front first courtesy of a goal from Joshua John in the first half.
Emmanuel Ogbole scored the second for the hosts two minutes after the break to seal the victory.
Speaking to the media, Nikyu commended his lads for a breathtaking display while charging them not to rest on their oars.
“Winning back-to-back at home is a good one for us.
“We still have the second round to catch up after our slow start,” he said.
The outcome of the encounter means that the Lafia club is one point clear of the relegation zone and move to eighth position in Group A.
