Nasarawa United Coach Assures Fans Of Team Improvement After Mid-Season Break

Nasarawa United manager Bala Nikyu has assured supporters of the club that there would be an improvement from his players during the second half of the season.

The Nigerian top flight league had embarked on a three-week election break to enable players to carry out their civic duty.

Prior to the break, the Solid Miners recorded two wins from nine matches.

This prompted fans to call for the resignation of Nikyu following the poor showing of his team in the first half of the season.

However, the gaffer firmly believes that the fortunes of the team will change from March 25 when they resume hostilities with Remo Stars.

“I know the fans are hungry for results and it is my responsibility to produce it on the pitch,” Nikyu told DAILY POST.

“We as a team working hard to improve on our result and the fans will surely see improvement in the second half of the season,” he added.
