Nasarawa Water Falls Resort: NIHOTOUR To Train 13 Travel Gui

The National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism (NIHOTOUR) had offered to train 13 travel guides in Nasarawa ahead of the full commencement of Farin Ruwa Water Falls Resort, in the state.

Mr Nura Kangiwa, Director-General of the Institute disclosed this in an interview with newsmen on Sunday in Wamba Local Government Area (LGA) during a feasibility visit to the resort.

Kangiwa said the institute was ready to train one person from each of the 13 LGAs of the state, in preparation for the job.

He added that the training of the 13 indigenous travel guides would be an added advantage, as they were already familiar with the terrain.

“We believe that the training of the 13 travel guides is the right step, so by the time the developers finish developing this place, the indigenes will be ready to take people around,” he said.
