Natives Filmworks Releases Trailer For New Movie 'Cake'

Natives Films has finally released the trailer for the highly-anticipated rom-com, Cake. The movie which is set to hit cinemas worldwide is to be released on February 25, 2022.

From the little glimpsed in the trailer, the movie seems to centre around a baker named Tomiwa Akinlolu who falls in love with a beautiful lady after promising the portrait of his mum that he was going to get married. They get talking and he uses every skill in his cookbook to get her to fall in love with him too.

Everything looks like a fairy tale until the day the protagonist decides to propose to her and finds out that she is engaged to someone else.

This in turn turns him into a cold, grumpy troll who has made it his life's ambition to hate on anybody he ever sees in love.

The movie stars the likes of Tope Tedela, Sophie Alakija, Patience Ozokwor, Phillip Asaya, Ray Adeka, and even our very own Big Brother Naija star, Saskay.
