NBTI, NBTTF Join Forces To Drive Innovation, Entrepreneurshi

To promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and technical growth, the National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI) will collaborate with the Nigeria Bangladesh Business and Technology Forum (NBTTF).

Dr. Uchenna Chukwu, the Director General of NBTI, spoke to a team from NBTTF led by its President, Arc. Bob Achanya, on the importance of the collaboration on Tuesday in Abuja.

Chukwu stated that the collaboration's goal was to build connections and meet the agency's mandate.

“Without beneficial partnerships, the mandates of NBTI which include commercialisation of research, training and development, food security will not be achieved.

“This partnership will strengthen institutions and encourage entrepreneurs to project their research works which will result in products and services.

“Findings can only translate to economic development if they are commercialised.”

Achanya stated earlier that the goal of the visit was to further solidify bilateral ties between the two nations.

The tour, according to him, was also done to get ready for the Nigeria-Bangladesh Cottage, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (CMSMEs) meeting that will take place in December.

Achanya stated that the exposition provided an opportunity for NBTI incubatees to highlight services and goods created in Nigeria.

“With this visit, we intend to discuss how NBTI’s mandate aligns with the objectives of the exposition and explore areas of collaboration.”
