NCAA Threatens To Withdraw Approvals Granted To Domestic Air

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has said that it is considering cancelling the approvals it granted domestic airlines to commence flight operations over non-compliance of COVID-19 protocols.

This development was disclosed in a letter issued by the authority's Director-General, Musa Nuhu.

The letter titled, ‘Non-Compliance With COVID-19 Protocol’ warned violators of the need to comply with the protocols or else face stiff penalties.

The letter read, “It has been brought to the notice of the NCAA that some domestic airline operators have not been complying with the COVID-19 protocol as released through all operators letter (AOL) DG 035/20 ref. NCAA/DG/AIR/11/16/260 and advisory circular (AC) NCAA-AC-AMS-006 both dated September 4, 2020.
