Following Tuesday’s attack on the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) by suspected bandits, Aisha Yesufu, a Nigerian activist has lashed out at the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan; and Femi Gbajabiamila, Speaker of the House of Representatives, for ‘colluding with failed President Muhammadu Buhari’.

According to Yesufu, Buhari deserved to be impeached, ‘but considering the National Assembly leadership can be easily bought off’, they won’t work to impeach the President.

“@DrAhmadLawan and @femigbaja should be right now working on the impeachment of Muhammadu Buhari for failing to protect the lives and properties of his people but according to Newspaper reports all it takes is $2m to buy them off! What a shameless bunch!” Yesufu wrote on her verified Twitter handle.

NDA Attack

AllNews recalls that the daring gunmen gained entrance into the academy’s residential area in Afaka, Kaduna, in the early hours of Tuesday.

Two officers were reportedly killed and one abducted in the early morning attack.

The NDA confirmed the attack in a statement by its Public Relations Officer, Maj. Bashir Jajira.
