In order to lower youth unemployment, the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) has announced that 25 unemployed graduates in Kano will receive training on installing and maintaining solar power systems.
Inuwa Abdullahi, Director of the agency in Kano, gave the students a commitment job as he unveiled the course on Friday.
He said that the training would be delivered concurrently in numerous states and was performed in collaboration with the Abuja Graduate School.
According to the Director, the programme is intended to provide Nigerian youngsters with the tools they need to become independent and labour employers.
For the benefit of everyone, he gave the beneficiaries assignments that required commitment and seriousness both during and after the training.
The Director asserts that "Solar energy is the best option to the nation's deteriorating power supply."
Maryam Abdulkadir, speaking on behalf of the attendees, characterised the programme as illuminating and life-changing.
She expressed gratitude to the organisation for the chance and promised to successfully apply her recently gained abilities.
“This new skill will influence our economic capacity and will enable us to be self-reliant,” Abdulkadir said.
