NDLEA Arrests Man With One Million Capsules Of Tramadol

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested a 43 year old man named Onuoha Friday, with one million capsules of Tramadol along Lagos-Benin expressway.

Femi Babafemi, the NDLEA spokesperson made this known in a statement on Sunday in Abuja.

He also claimed that operatives of the NDLEA arrested another two persons in Anambra State as a total of 238.973 kilograms illicit drugs were recovered. Various quantities of codeine, tramadol and rohypnol were recovered.

He added that on Dec. 8, the NDLEA’s patrol team intercepted a truck going to Delta with different illicit drugs while the driver, Lucky James was arrested.

He ended the statement by quoting the NDLEA Chairman, Brigadier Gen. Buba Marwa, as commending and charging the team across the country to remain vigilant in getting rid of illicit drugs.
