NEM Insurance Harps On Gender Equity

Nem Insurance Plc has said it is embracing gender equality.

It said this in a statement to celebrate the 2023 International Women’s Day with the theme, ‘Embrace Equity’.

The Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer,Tope Smart said, “As we celebrate this year’s edition of International Women’s Day today, I join numerous well-wishers all over the world to celebrate all women and not forgetting our wonderful amazons in NEM Insurance Plc group.

“Interestingly, the theme for this year’s International Women’s Day celebration is ‘Embrace Equity’.

"I totally align myself with this theme given my adherence to the principle of fairness and being a strong believer that everyone should be given equal treatment irrespective of gender.
