Nemel Community Honours LG Chairman With Chieftancy Tittle

It was fanfare at Nemel in Kanke Local Government Area of Plateau State when the Chairman of the Council, Hon. Henry Jan Gotip, was honoured for his exceptional performances in good governance, infrastructure development and security of lives and property in the council area.

Henry received a chieftaincy title of Majidadin Guduman Nemel from the traditional rulers for his human-oriented and all-inclusive governance style.

Giving a welcome speech during the reception in his honour, they noted that they were celebrating the gains of the longstanding relationship with the Local government council Chairman for his foresight and his effort in transforming the local government area which is visible to all.

"His sleepless night to ensure his people are safe among many other good things he is doing to transform the Local Government.

"As soon as he took over mantle of Chairmanship of Kanke Local Government, he quickly learnt the dynamic leadership styles of winning ways which are anchored on meekness, humility, empathy for the poor and downtrodden, regard for the nobility and reverence for the Almighty God.”

The Local Government Boss while responding, appreciated the Nemel traditional council for finding him worthy of the title of Majidadin  Guduman Nemel and assured them that the chieftaincy title will spur him to be more dedicated in serving the people and  taking kanke Local government to greater heights, he encouraged the Nemel community to continue living in unity and the peaceful nature they are known for. 

The high point of the occasion was the decoration of the Executive Chairman with the Chieftaincy title of Majidadin Guduman Nemel cultural displays and musical display by renowned Ngas music artist
