Netflix game service has received the racing game titled Asphalt Xtreme as its latest game available “exclusively” for subscribers, with no ads or in-app purchases.
Asphalt is a famous mobile racing game originally launched in October 2016 but was afterward removed from app stores at the end of September 2021. A trailer for the game was released on Netflix’s YouTube channel
The new launch will see Netflix’s gaming service borrowing from its video streaming playbook. Netflix seems to be developing its archives by permitting earlier released games rather than exclusively releasing all-new, original titles. Same as how Netflix’s video archives carry all-new shows like Lupin and Bridgerton alongside classics like Seinfeld.
In order to play the mobile available games on Netflix service, gamers will be linked out to each platforms’ app store to download each game and subscribers who want to check out the mobile games available on its service should visit the regular iOS and Android apps.
According to a report, Asphalt Xtreme is gradually rolling out to users globally and will come to Netflix subscribers in the US in the coming weeks.
