New Trailer For Star-Studded Nollywood Film Mimi Arrives

The trailer for the upcoming Nollywood film Mimi has been released.

Nollywood has continued to thrive as we have seen the resurgence of the cinema culture in the country. More and more quality films are being shown to the rest of the world, showcasing our nation's best talents.

Directed by Sam Olatunji with a script written by Joy BewajiMimi is the next big comedy, and the trailer teases the hilarious moments from the film produced by Wale Osagie.

Details of the forthcoming movie are still sketchy but one thing that cannot be ignored is the sheer power of the star-studded cast.

From the short clip (uploaded on Instagram), there will be a depiction of the contrasting worlds of the affluent and the poor, resulting in rib-cracking humour.

Speaking with AllNews Nigeria on the plot of the movie, actor Deyemi Okanlawon revealed that, it is a comedy about a girl who is taken back to her roots so that she can value what she has.

"Mimi is a comedy about a young girl, Mimi, who was raised by her foster parents into a very spoilt child. To contain her excesses, her parents take her back to her roots until she learns to value all that she has," Okanlawon said.
