Eight different players scored for Newcastle in Sunday's emphatic 8-0 win over Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.

Sven Botman added a third less than five minutes later when he headed a free-kick  fired in by Trippier past goalkeeper Wes Foderingham.

Things went from bad to worse for the Blades 10 minutes into the second half as Callum Wilson made it four when he headed home a cross from Trippier.

Gordon then curled a low effort into the bottom corner for the fifth on 61 minutes before Miguel Almiron calmly slotted home for the sixth seven minutes later.

Bruno Guimaraes made it seven on 73 minutes, before Alexander Isak coolly slotted home late on to make it 8-0 and complete the rout.
