Carol Maraj, the mother of American rapper Nicki Minaj, has filed a $150 million lawsuit against the reckless driver accused of killing the artist's father.

Recall that AllNews reported that 64-year-old Robert Maraj was killed in a hit-and-run accident on February 13, 2021, and the man responsible, Charles Polevich, was turned himself in on February 17, 2021.

Polevich was charged with leaving the scene of the incident and tampering with physical evidence. He pleaded not guilty and was let go on bail, with an order not to leave the state of New York.
