The Niger State Government has restated its commitment to flush out bandits, miscreants, and other criminal elements in the State.
The state Commissioner for Local Government and Internal Security, Emmanuel Umar, made this known in an interview with newsmen shortly after a meeting with the state assembly Committee on Local Government on Thursday.
According to him," Government is working towards increasing support to law enforcement agencies and conventional security organizations to mitigate banditry activities.
"I can assure you that efforts are on to flush out these bandits and criminal elements as well as mitigate their activities.
