Nigeria musical artist, Stanley Omah Didia alias Omah Lay has responded over the weekend to the question on the meaning of his name, when asked by an old woman that happens to love one of his songs, "thank God I godly"
Omah Lay responded via his Twitter handle where he said the name was actually his birth name.

Omah Lay's song gained more popularity after his encounter with the Ugandan Police as Nigerians and the Nigerian Government reacted. AllNews had earlier reported the arrest and release of Omah Law and others two weeks ago when they performed in a concert in Uganda disregarding the COVID-19 rules.

Also reacting to the question, a fan of the singer identified as @PearlPriscillia stated that Omah Lay in Igbo language means bad thing won't happen!
