Nigeria: 'If You Cannot Govern Well, Can't You Resign' - Pastor Paul Enenche To Buhari [VIDEO]

Paul Enenche, the senior pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Abuja, has expressed his displeasure with the current security challenge being witnessed in Nigeria.

In a video posted on the verified social media channels of Enenche on Wednesday, the preacher lamented the ceaseless kidnappings, killings and banditry activities that are claiming lives of the Nigerian masses.

"Is it by force to rule? if you can't, can't you resign? Is it by force?" Enenche said, seemingly sending a message to President Muhammadu Buhari.

"Things are going out of control, at various levels. And people are still sitting down, [is it] until everybody dies?

"The time has come when they say 'enough is enough'.

"John Maxwell said "Everything rises and falls on leadership".

"It is not even time to blame 'who is the kidnapper or the bandit?'

"Where are the people in authority that can make kidnap to end under seven days if they want?

"There are kidnap cells everywhere in the bush.

"We have mountain navigation technologies to navigate everywhere they are - under 24 hours.

"And people are sitting and priding [sic], 'I am Chief this, I am Chief that'. Useless Chief nothing!"

He continued: "We don't have disaster in Nigeria. The only disaster we have is leadership disaster.

"If somebody is watching and blood is flowing, it is either he is a killer or he is the sponsor of the killer, or he is excited at the killing. Very simple.

"That is the scenario of our nation, and the truth must be told."

Enenche then engaged in a prayer session with his congregation for the Nigerian nation.

Insecurity in Nigeria politically motivated - Akpabio

Meanwhile, Godswill Akpabio, the minister of Niger Delta affairs, says insecurity in Nigeria is politically motivated.

Akpabio, a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) said this on Thursday at the party's national secretariat in Abuja.

He said insecurity has assumed a worrisome dimension as it is no longer limited to one section of the country.

“I think most of the problems are politically motivated,” he said.

“So, we must use our binoculars to be able to look and identify the sponsors of the insecurity we are witnessing in the country.

“What is happening now is not Nigeria; this is unNigeria. We must do everything possible, even through advice, to make sure that Nigeria remains united.

“We have never, in the history of this nation, witnessed where people in uniform are targeted for elimination.

“That will show you that we have infiltrators in our midst, the security of our neighbouring countries must also remain a priority. ”
