Gunmen suspected to be operatives of the Eastern Security Network (ESN) founded by pro-Biafra activist and the proscribed Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) have killed four Hausa traders in Imo state.

A member of the Hausa community in the state revealed according to Sahara Reporters that three northerners were killed in Orlu town while the fourth person was attacked in Umuaka Njaba Local Government Area. Read more here.

President Muhammadu Buhari has vowed that perpetrators of recent “terrorist” attacks in south eastern Anambra and Ebonyi states will not be spared.

Commercial banks have reconnected MTN customers to banking channels, after disconnecting them on Friday April 2, 2020. The reconnection included the Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) and banking apps.
