1. N-Power Unpaid Stipends/NEXIT: Representatives Forum Announces Two-week Online Protest

The 36 States and FCT N-Power Representatives Forum on Monday evening announced that online protests will be held for two weeks - in respect of the owed stipends of exited beneficiaries and the delayed implementation of the NEXIT by the FG.

2. FACT CHECK: Did Kaduna State University Hike Fees?

Barely two weeks after the Greenfield University Attack in Kaduna State reports emerged the Kaduna State University (KASU) increased school fees for indigenes and non-indigenes respectively.

According to reports by popular online news platforms, the Kaduna State University increased its tuition fees from N26,000 to N150,000 for students in the Faculty of Arts, Management, and Social Sciences, while the Faculty of Medicine to N300,000 as against N24,000 while non-indigenes will pay N500,000. 3. NAF 2021 Recruitment: Nigerian Air Force Releases List Of Successful Candidates

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has released a list of successful candidates for the 2021 airmen/airwomen recruitment selection board interview.

NAF who made this known in a statement issued via its verified official Twitter handle on Monday said the list was released by the authorities of the force. Read more here.

4. IPOB: 5 Things You Didn't Know About Slain Nnamdi Kanu's Man, Ikonso Commander

A tactical team of the Nigeria Police, Nigerian Army, and Department of State Services (DSS), in a joint operation last Saturday eliminated Ikonso Commander, who was said to be the commander of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) military.

The early morning raid in Awomama Village, Oru East LGA of Imo State also saw an army officer, three policemen and some other IPOB members losing their lives. Read more here.

5. Update: Police Confirms Three Students Abducted In Benue State

The police in Benue State have confirmed on Monday that three students were abducted from the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi by unknown gunmen.

English Premier League (EPL) giants, Manchester United are set to face off against Manchester City for Carney Chukwuemeka.

7. Bitcoin Jumps To Pare 5 day Losses As Crypto Markets Roar Back

The cryptocurrency markets sprung into the green zone on Monday morning as investors shrugged off fears of a possible bear market.

Bitcoin jumped as much as 8 percent on Monday to $53,519 as of report time and was on course to snap five straight days of losses, though the bellwether cryptocurrency has slumped almost a fifth from its all-time high hit earlier this month. The token's market cap reached $1 trillion once again after it previously nosedived to $850 billion. Read more here.

8. Residents Flee Yobe Community As Boko Haram Raises Flag

A video has appeared online showing the mass exodus of residents of Geidam, a community in Yobe State, following an attack by Boko Haram insurgents last week.

The Military had claimed it repelled the attack, adding that over 20 insurgents were killed and recovered vehicles and arms. Read more here.

9. Oscars 2021: Moment Daniel Kaluuya Thanks Parents For Having Sex, Giving Birth To Him

Hollywood star Daniel Kaluuya while giving his acceptance speech at the 2021 Oscars, thanked his mum and dad for having sex, leading to his arrival in a moment that went viral.

Kaluuya won the award for Best Actor in a Supporting role for his portrayal of Fred Hampton in Judas and the Black Messiah. While accepting the honour, he expressed his thanks to God and those he worked with in the film. Read more here.

10. How Gunmen Invaded Sunday Igboho’s Residence – Aide

New facts are emerging on how some unidentified gunmen invaded the residence of popular Yoruba activist, Sunday Adeyemo, better known as Sunday Igboho. 

AllNews had reported that Igboho’s residence located in the Soka area of Ibadan was invaded by some gunmen in the early hours of Monday. The gunmen fired many gunshots when they invaded the house. Read more here.
