Some staff of Heritage Bank have stormed the residence of Senator Andy Uba over undisclosed debts acquired by the Anambra politician.

2. Latest Transfer: Man City Submit £100M Bid For Harry Kane

Manchester City have made a bid of £100 million to Tottenham for England captain Harry Kane, according to reports on Monday.

3. Euro 2020: Wijnaldum's Brace Leads Netherland To Knockout Stage, North Macedonia Out

Georginio Wijnaldum scored a brace for the Netherlands to complete a perfect group stage at Euro 2020 by comfortably beating North Macedonia 3-0 in Amsterdam on Monday.

4. Nigerian Stock Market Resumes Week With N54bn Loss

The Nigerian stock market began trading for the week on Monday still on a negative mood with 0.27 per cent loss due to renewed profit-taking.

5. NYSC Launches 2021 Health Initiative For Rural Dwellers

National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has launched its 2021 medical teams’ Health Initiative for Rural Dwellers (HIRD).

The scheme’s Director-General, Brig.-Gen. Shuaibu Ibrahim said at the launch in Abuja on Monday that the initiative, medical outreach to rural communities, would feature sensitization on disease prevention and care. Read more here.

6. Lagos Assembly Amends Electoral Commission Law

The Lagos House of Assembly has reviewed and amended a portion of the law creating the state’s Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC).

7. UTME 2021: JAMB Sends Unmissable Message To Candidates In Delisted CBT Centres As Per Notification Slip

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has directed Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) 2021 candidates scheduled to take examinations in the 24 delisted centres to print their notification slips for new dates and time of examinations.

8. Baba Ijesha: New Trial Date Set For Nollywood Sex Offender’s Case

Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju Omiyinka alias Baba Ijesha is to be arraigned at an Ikeja Special Offences Court on Thursday over allegations of sexual assault of a minor.

Baba Ijesha who has been in custody since his arrest on April 22, is to stand trial before Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo on June 24, the judge’s case list has revealed. Read more here.

The N-Power Youth Congress (N-PYC) has reacted to a statement by the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Social Development and Disaster Management, Sadiya Farouq, concerning the payment of thousands of the ex-beneficiaries’ five-month stipends backlogs.
