3. Scores Killed As Bandits Attack Plateau Community

About 40 people have been killed in an attack by bandits on communities in the Miango kingdom of Plateau state.

4. FIFA Bans Former CAF President Issa Hayatou Over TV, Marketing Rights

FIFA's ethics committee on Tuesday handed a year ban from football-related activities to former African Football Confederation (CAF) president Issa Hayatou over a controversial $1 billion TV and marketing rights deal with France's Lagardere Sports which infringed competition regulations.

Cameroon's Hyatou, 74, must also pay a 30,000 Swiss francs fine after the committee's adjudicatory chamber found the former Fifa vice-president and interim president breached article 15 (Duty of Loyalty) of world football's governing body's ethics code. Read more here.

5. Tokyo 2020: Brazil Will Face Spain In Olympic Men's Football Final

Reigning champions Brazil will face Spain in the Olympic men's football final after Marco Asensio's superb extra-time winner on Tuesday secured a 1-0 victory over host nation Japan in Saitama.

The Real Madrid winger came off the bench as a substitute and curled in a terrific strike in the 115th minute, sending Spain through to a first Olympic final since they finished runners-up at the 2000 Games in Sydney. Read more here.

The Bishop of Pottersville Church Internation, Sam Owusu has alleged that the founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations, Prophet T.B . Joshua was killed.

7. Evans: Defence Closes Case On Kidnap Kingpin

The defence teams of alleged kidnap kingpin Chukwudimeme Onwuamadike, alias Evans and his five co-defendants have closed their case before Justice Hakeem Oshodi of an Ikeja High Court.

8. New Update On Singer Aaliyah's Death

According to a new book, Aaliyah was carried unconscious onto the plane before the fatal crash after she refused to board. 

According to the new book by music journalist Kathy Landoli, singer Aaliyah never insisted on boarding the small private plane that crashed 20 years ago, killing her and the other passengers. Read more here.

9. Google Unveils Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro With Proprietary Tensor Chipset

Google has officially unveiled the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro with a unique design and its first mobile processor, a "proprietary tensor chipset".

Google pulled the covers from its latest Pixel on Monday, revealing pixel 6 and Pixel 6 pro via a press release and a series of Tweets with some good measure of explicit leaks. Both smartphones represent a drastic upgrade for the Pixel line with a fresh look. Read more here.

10. ‘Corrupt People Sneaked Into APC’ — Jega

Former chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Attahiru Jega, has said he joined the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), because the two major parties – the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have not lived up to the expectations of Nigerians.

Jega, who reiterated his membership of PRP in a recent interview with BBC Hausa said, 'Nigerians should dump the two parties, because of their bad antecedents over the last 20 years'. He criticised the APC 'for being a dump for corrupt politicians'. Read more here.
