1. Nigeria's Inflation Rate Dropped in May

The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) reported that Nigeria's inflation rate reduced in May by 0.19 percent to 17.93 percent from 18.12 percent recorded in April.

It said this in the “Consumer Price Index (CPI), May 2021” report it released on Tuesday in Abuja, adding that CPI, which measures inflation, increased by 17.93 percent (year-on-year) in May. Read more here.

“The National Youth Service Corp (NYSC)  remains a tool for national integration  which fosters  national development and unity  for the benefit  of Nigerian youth”.

3. Euro 2020: Portugal's Ronaldo Becomes Top Scorer Against Hungary

Cristiano Ronaldo became the all-time top scorer in the history of the European Championship with a late penalty in Portugal's opening Euro 2020 game against Hungary in Budapest on Tuesday.

The Federal Government on Tuesday confirmed that Twitter has formally written to seek dialogue on issues leading to the indefinite suspension of its operations in the country.

The value of Coca-Cola fell as much as four billion dollars after Cristiano Ronaldo disparagingly removed two bottles from their place at his press conference on Monday.

Ronaldo removed two bottles of Coca-Cola from his region during Monday’s news conference ahead of Portugal’s game against Hungary.
